Overview of Location
A third party seaplane company operates a scenic 45-minute seaplane transfer from Male International Airport to the Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa. Transfers are US$475 plus 3.5% T-GST return with a 50% discount applying to children under the age of 12. Seaplane transfer fee will be charged directly to your villa account at the resort and must be settled prior your departure. Upon confirming your reservation, our team will automatically organize your transfer 48 hours after receiving your booking. The seaplanes only operate during daylight hours (6am-6pm). To reach the resort the same day, guests must check in before 16:00 at the seaplane counter. For International departure flights before 09:30 guests will have to arrive in Male one day prior to their departure and stay overnight in Male.
Our reservations team will be happy to assist in arranging accommodations in Male for any late arrivals or early departures Upon your arrival to Male International Airport our resort team will meet you outside of the arrivals terminal and escort you by shuttle bus to our Hilton lounge at the seaplane terminal. Flight times are confirmed by the seaplane company 24 hours prior to departure and you will be notified as to your flight times upon arrival into Male. Please note as per the seaplane company's terms and conditions, baggage allowance is 25kg and 5 kg hand luggage. Any excess baggage is at an additional charge and will have to be paid directly to the seaplane company at US$4.00 per 1 kg.
The resort must receive full flight details at least 7 days prior to arrival in order to guarantee the seaplane seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time in the Lounge or an overnight stay in Male at guests' additional cost. In the event of extreme weather conditions, transfers may not always be available at the designated time and the resort is not liable for any compensation arising from such delays. Every effort will be made to transfer guests from the airport to the resort within 2 hours of arrival at the seaplane terminal.
General Room Details
Choose a Water Villa and enjoy sublime views of the Indian Ocean or relax in a Beach Villa, nestled amongst the island’s spectacular flora. Unwind on the terrace in the oversized day bed and watch the sun set with a glass of wine from the villa’s wine cellar. Re-fresh in the sanctuary of the en-suite bathroom with its own private courtyard featuring an i-spa bath (bathtub with water jets and ipod connection), sun deck, large gazebo and two rain showers.
