It's summertime and when we think of fun in the sun we often also consider the excitement and amusement that comes with a visit to the boardwalk.  The United States is home to some of the best beach boardwalks in this world.  Some include shops and dining while others offer entertainment, rides and of course--arcades! Here's a look at some of the best beach boardwalks in the US.

Coney Island Boardwalk, Brooklyn, New York

The Coney Island Boardwalk includes 19 rides, tons of entertainment such as magic and juggling shows and of course plenty of fair style foods to feast on.  A visit to this beach boardwalk will truly take you back in time and can make even the eldest vacationer feel like a kid again!

Ocean City Boardwalk, Maryland

Dubbed one of America's best boardwalks by the Travel Channel, the Ocean City Boardwalk is a classic wooden boardwalk that's got something going on every day and every night.  Featuring a Ferris wheel, roller coaster and carousel from 1902, there's always something fun to do at the Ocean City Boardwalk!

Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk, South Carolina
