Take a short drive around the shores of Miami Beach to take in some area attractions and historic sites, including the Art Deco buildings, Parrot Jungle and the beautiful gardens and landscapes in Coconut Grove. Miami Beach Weather and Best Time to Visit

The tropical climate of Miami Beach means you can expect hot and humid days during the spring and summer months. Hurricane season brings many storms and rain showers, but Miami still enjoys more sunshine than other cities around the country throughout the year. Highs remain in the upper 80s and mid-90s for most months of the year, and lows average about 70 to 80 degrees at night. Most rainfall occurs from the middle of May through early October, so be sure to pack a poncho and rain gear if you are going to visit during hurricane season. Peak season in Miami runs from January through April because this is when many northerners head south to enjoy the sunshine and beach activities. Off-peak season runs from June through September, and this is the time when you can find the best travel deals.
