2025 Hollywood Beach Cleanup

In honor of World Ocean Day, Beach.com invites you to take action and help protect our shores at the Hollywood Beach Cleanup. Our mission is to inspire travelers and coastal communities to care for the places we love, and this global day of ocean conservation is the perfect opportunity to make a difference.

As we build our platform to help travelers discover the best coastal stays, we remain committed to preserving the beauty and health of our oceans. Our beach cleanups bring together volunteers, ocean advocates, and community leaders to remove harmful debris and raise awareness about plastic pollution. By joining us, you’ll be part of a movement to keep our beaches clean and our marine life safe—one piece of trash at a time.

Volunteers will gather at Perry St and Surf Road (on the beach). Please arrive by 9 a.m. for a brief orientation and to collect your cleanup bag and t-shirt.

My name is Elle Jimenez, I am founder of the Saving the Seas non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring youth to protect our oceans through art, education and entertainment. I am also a professional diver, marine ecologist, conservationist, published author and world-renowned professional mermaid performer. My goal is to educate families during our beach clean ups about protecting our marine life with this hands-on experience and inspire them to continue protecting the oceans at home and in their daily lives. Everyone can make a wave of a difference!

To participate, please register below. During registration, volunteers will be asked to provide their t-shirt size to help us ensure appropriate supplies.
