2.Historic Town of St George, Bermuda

Founded in 1612, the historic town of St. George is one of the oldest English settlements in the Western Hemisphere.  A World Heritage Destination, history buffs can take a step back in time by exploring this colorful town. Appreciate the well-preserved British colonial architecture, including the State House, built in 1619 and St. Peter’s Church, established in 1612. The church’s treasures include the altar, which is Bermuda’s oldest piece of furniture and a bible from 1594. Most of the town’s buildings date back to the 17th and 19th centuries.
