By late afternoon, you’ll make your way to Bar do Meio, perched directly above the beach, for sunset drinks or a fun dinner accompanied by a DJ or live music overlooking the ocean. It’s one of the island’s most romantic yet still social spots to end the day.

Praia da Conceição’s wide stretch of sand means it’s easy to find your own space, even when the island is busy. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent, and a handful of vendors and beachfront spots serve drinks and snacks throughout the day. You can easily arrive in the morning and end up staying until sunset, moving between the ocean and your beach chair without ever feeling rushed.
