Sea Bright Public is probably the most popular single beach in Monmouth County. In the summer time it's rare that the parking lot isn't completely full. Like other Monmouth County beaches, Sea Bright Public has strong surf, though Sea Bright has had a problem with beach erosion for decades. The army corps of engineers periodically replenishes the sand. One way to enjoy the beach without suffering the larger crowds is to visit one of the private beaches at the various beach clubs or bars like Donovan's Reef.
