The resort sits right on 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida) in Playa del Carmen, which is the go-to spot for tourists in the Riviera Maya. Stop by the Parque Fundadores to catch live, local performers while the kids enjoy the play area. For a bigger adventure, take a 45-minute trip to the ancient Mayan city of Coba to view one of the largest archaeological sites in the region. Tulum is another location of Mayan ruins, and while it’s not as large, it’s the only one located next to the seaside in the Riviera Maya. If you want to take in some history without leaving Playa del Carmen, check out the hidden ruins during your stroll on 5th Avenue between 12th and 14th Street.
