Aruba definitely has some of the longest happy hours you’ll ever encounter. Gelatissimo Bistro is one of the best Aruba happy hours, starting daily at 11 am (!) and running until 8 pm. Some of their drink specials include $8 sangria, 2 for $12 glasses of wine and 2 for $14 cocktails.

Want to try an internationally-inspired piña colada while exploring Aruba’s bars? You can get one at Waves Beach Bar & Grill at the Aruba Marriot Resort & Stellaris Casino. The bar offers two daily happy hours from noon until 1 pm, and again from 3 to 5 pm. The legendary piña coladas are served in an actual coconut with light rum, fresh pineapple juice from Costa Rica, crushed pineapple from Hawaii and coconut cream from the Dominican Republic.  During happy hour, you can get 2 for $15!


Piet's Pier Bar

Situated on a pier over the Caribbean sea, Piet’s Pier Bar, located along Palm Beach at the Hyatt, offers incredible sunset views and a daily happy hour from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. The happy-hour menu includes $5 mixed drinks, $4.25 beers and a plate of wings for $7.50.

If you want to go to keep the Aruba nightlife going, head over to neighboring Palms Restaurant, also located at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino. Palms Restaurant is a relaxed, beachside grill with Latin influence. Its happy hour goes from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and offers half-priced house drinks and local beers. Palms Restaurant’s menu also offers island cuisine like Blackened Fish Tacos, Carribean Jerk Chicken and Seared Sesame Grouper—yum!

Castaways Bar, part of the Hilton Aruba Resort and Casino, has a daily happy hour from 4 to 6pm.  Cocktails are $7 and happy-hour food items include Chicken Tenders, Buffalo Wings and a Caprese Chicken Sandwich, to name a few.


Que Pasa?

Don’t let its name fool you, Que Pasa is not a Mexican restaurant. It offers a variety of cuisines including Dutch, Italian, Caribbean, Mexican and even Japanese, among others. From 4 to 6 pm they offer a unique deal where dollar prices are in florins, which saves guests a lot of money. The bill must run over $20 per person for the florin-for-dollar special to apply. Open to locals and visitors alike!


Aged. Wine Bar

This one is for all the wine enthusiasts. Aged has happy hour Monday-Saturday from 5 to 8 pm.  Wines start at $4, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
