Coco Bongo

You’d be hard-pressed to go bar hopping in Cancún without someone mentioning Coco Bongo. This massively popular club, located just south of the Hotel Zone, is famous for packing in throngs of crowds with their party antics like fog, foam and themed events. While this wild club is open until 4 am every night of the week, expect it to be especially crowded on the weekends.

This night-time spot in the Hotel Zone is distinctive for its cave-like entrance. Once you’re inside Dady’O, it opens into a giant dancefloor that hosts celebrities and spring breakers alike aside multiple stages. Bikini contests, casino games and carefully selected DJs provide a clubbing experience like no other. Be sure to plan ahead if you want to fit this nightclub in, as it’s only open three nights per week.

The Black Pub

Whether you’re on a girls’ getaway, spring break or looking for a cocktail after dinner, The Black Pub will satisfy. Located on Avenida Sayil, this pub offers live rock music and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s the perfect balance of drinking and dancing, while still having an atmosphere that allows conversation. Mandala is perhaps the most recognized name in Cancún nightlife, bringing the party day and night. Choose from the nightclub, Mandala, Mandala Beach Day or Mandala Beach Night. Purchase open bar tickets to any one of these clubs, and you’ll be partying from dusk ‘til dawn, whether it’s at a bumping nightclub with renowned DJs, or poolside at the beach bar. With last call leading into the early morning, Mandala hosts themed nights like Mardi Gras Mondays and Mandala Gone Wild Thursdays. For a lively daytime pool scene, head to The Mandala Beach Day for DJ-hosted parties with VIP and beachfront access.

Grand Mambocafé

After dinner at Parque de las Palapas, walk 15 minutes to Grand Mambocafé for Latin music and authentic ambiance. Leave the Hotel Zone behind for this first-rate spot with live salsa music, dance performances and delicious cocktails. Bonus: since salsa is a partner dance, you’ll have ample opportunity to get up close to your bae, or even meet your next date.
